For many centuries wool has been used for spinning, dyeing, felting, knitting, weaving and various other purposes.

Although partly replaced by man made fibres in more recent years, it's use has seen a revival by the people wishing to upkeep or build on the traditional craft activities surrounding this most natural of materials, wool.

Handmade Presents aims to offer all the necessary materials needed to enjoy those pleasurable activities such as felting, needle felting (felting needles available), weaving and spinning.

You can chose from a wide range of dyed or natural coloured wool fleece (carded sliver or tops) or check out our selection of precious animal fibres such as alpaca, camel or mohair.

Our plant dyed range of wool comprises 25 different colours to choose from or you can enjoy the beauty of our plant dyed rainbow fleeces used also for felting, spinning, weaving or the creation of wool pictures. In the near future we hope to stock plant dyed felt as well as plant dyed knitting yarn.
